Concert at Brigham Young Park

We love attending the concerts at Brigham Young Park.Last Friday it was a great folk band. We had a real fun time. Except maybe Brady. He had a bad tummy ache and the nearest bathroom is at the JSMB. Poor boy!
Side note: Last night in FHE Brady commented that the time he has felt the Savior's love the strongest was when he had to go to the bathroom last Friday and he and Dad went to the JSMB and walked through temple square!! Too cute!!

Froggy joins a band

Here is Brady in his first grade play "Froggy joins a band."
Who is Froggy do you ask? Yep, you guessed it.

Highlight for Brady? He got to "play" the saxophone!!!
Check out those sweet suspenders!

Ridin' Bikes

Last Wednesday Der and the three youngest rode their bikes to my Mom's. Uphill for about 1 1/2 miles!!! Here is a cute pic of Danny and Dad as they get ready to pull in to our circle at the end of the nearly three mile ride!!

Kids sleep anywhere

This is what happened when Jeff put Bracken on time out for a minute on the rug at our house the other day...

I love tub pictures

Look at these cute boys (we're not cute Mom, we're handsome)
(I told Danny to lay off the weed;-)

Brady's Field Trip

I went with the 1st grade on their field trip to discovery Gateway and Sweet's Candy Factory.

They all had to where these GAY pennies at Discovery Gateway. Can you say gross and unsanitary? Oh well. I got SO many cute pics but since my computer is so slow I'll just upload a few.

Jaw Dropping Success!!!

Wow!!!! Laurel's yard sale made a whopping $1,751.90!!! Can you believe it?

Here are a few pics from that fun day!

Everything we sold was donated by friends, family, teachers, neighbors, and ward members. We picked up donations from Magna, Heber, to Springville, and everywhere in between. What a tremendous success.

It was such a fun day.

Thanks to the Hertzlers for setting up with us the day before (I think my folks and Alyssa went home around 10:30 or 11pm.

Then Jeff was back at 6:00am and Aundrea and her girls surprised us just after that. We had a good laugh as we watched a downpour soak all of our stuff. By 7:30 the rain stopped and we finished setting up as fast as we could because shoppers were already showing up from the flyer's we sent out.

Derek and Jeff set our signs all around town an hour later and then the rush began. We had a steady stream of customers all day until we ended at 6pm. At about 5:30 I started telling people that everything was free. So we only ended up with three small DI loads.

Jeff and Alyssa traded places around midday and she came up while he was home with the kids. Demaree and kids WALKED from their house and hung out with us too!! Matt came a bit later. It was so great to have such love and support from our closest friends the Hills and Hertzlers.

My dad manned the popcorn machine the entire day. Nat, Lolly, Bekah, Jeff, and Derek all helped there too. My Mom, Alyssa, and I did most of the selling. It was a great day!!
