FHE last night was a lot of fun. We made homemade pizza for dinner and then the kids put on a circus for us. They did such a cute job.

Natalie was the ringmaster. Lolly was the tightrope walker. Danny did the tight rope and trapeze. And Bones did the trapeze.

When the tricks were over they all put on a clown act.

It was all just very cute and they had so much fun all afternoon planning and rehearsing!!

This Is The Place - Heritage Park

Saturday was a great day. It started with a Stake Primary MTC Experience. Der and I taught a class about how to be a better missionary. It was so fun to do that with him.

We hurried home and had lunch and changed and then picked up my Mom and headed off to Family Fun Day at Heritage Park.

It was such a fun afternoon. It started with a wagon ride up to the main street. Then we did some of the fun crafts they had set up. The girls made corn husk dolls and papoose babies out of tongue depressors, and the boys did sand art. They all made these cute horses out of construction paper. The main was yarn and the legs were clothespins. The boys played bingo and won some fun prizes. The girls learned about ladies work. They washed clothes on a washboard, watered a garden with a pail and ladle, and learned how to spin wool. The kids all visited the schoolhouse and the school marm was a pistol!! She made school sound miserable!!! complete with dunce cap.

We didn't have time to do it all so we are planing to go back sometime soon. It was very fun.

We ended the night with a double date with my folks. They took us to see Indiana Bones at Desert Star Playhouse. It was a fun spoof on Indian Jones. It is always fun to be with my folks.

Happy Birthday Dad!

Today my father-in-law Jon Beatty Fish turns 60 years old!!!

Dad is the cute little toddler sitting on his Daddy's lap. I think his face still looks the same!

Dad is a great man. He is a great example to our family. He can be friends with ANYONE. No matter what they are like. Dad is a great family historian too. I would say that he his a hobby world historian just for fun. He loves to read and travel.

Anyone who knows Dad knows how much he loves and respects Mom. He has a phrase that I love "No I or Me but We." He truly lives that. They are one. They serve each other and never put themselves above the other. What a great example they are with such a loving and successful life they have created together.

I love this picture because it is so typical Dad. He always has a camera with him. I would guess that he uses it near daily. We love his pictures!! When he dies we'll have 780 million pictures of Mom on vacation and probably about 35 pictures of Dad though!!

Family Night

For those of you who don't already know, we are a field trip family. This past Monday was no exception. We headed to Thanksgiving Point. We began at the Petting Zoo and finished up at the garden to make paper rockets. It was very fun. Here are some cute pics from the petting zoo.

Sleepout night

Today the boys made a fort in the family room and really wanted to sleep in it. I though it sounded really fun until I had to deal with grumpy boys in the morning. Der and I talked and decided to set up a tent in the boys room for them to "sleep-out" in. While we were downstairs Brady wrote us a note in response to us saying "no" to them sleeping in the fort upstairs. When we called the boys down to their room Brady had Danny deliver his note. It said "You know, this is going to break Danny's heart!" All was forgiven when they saw the tent in their room. They were very excited.
