It's a great life!

Why? Well first I found some smokin' deals at DI today!! Second, I bought some homemade lemonade on the side of the road today from a cute little guy and it was the delicious freshly squeezed from limes kind!! Score! Third, I met Audrey Sweet's daughter Angie today. She is a lifeguard at our pool! Do they live around here? Fourth, guess what Nat has been watching recently?

Catching time in a bottle

We had the great opportunity to have Derek's family over this past Saturday. As I have looked at these photos I can't help but think that it will never be like this again. The next time we are all in the same place at the same time there could be a married grandkid, or a missing grandkid because he's on a mission, or maybe one away at college, or whatever.

It was so cool to have every single grandchild here for the picture!! All 20 grandkids! There's Brannah (19), Tay-o-jonny (17), Da Bow Baby (15), Landa rubber bando (13), LW (14), Tanndone (11), Bwennan (8), Klellan (5), Markie Sharkie (2), Natty Jo (14), Lollie Lou (13), Brady Bones (9), Handsome Dan (6), Her Grace (9), AJ (8), Juice (6), Leesey My Love (8), Beatty Boy (6), Boots (4), Sunia (2). I may not have all the nicknames and ages right. But Grandpa Fish has a special nickname for each and every one of them!

And here are the original five kids with their spouses (and all the grandkids too.) There's Aud (with Spensah), Boris (with Larry), Stub (with Kermie), DK (with Beck), and Butch (with Maki).

There are 5 kids, 5 spouses, and 20 grandkids in these photos. That makes 30 people at our house. Every single member of Derek's family was able to come EXCEPT MOM AND DAD! Booo! They were here a few weeks ago (well in St. George actually) and they are coming again in a few weeks for another reunion. We all understood, but missed them a lot!
